The lack of suicide prevention approaches that are specialized for elementary-aged children is a significant public health concern. This project is focused on developing and testing specialized safety plans for children (ages seven to eleven) who experience suicidal thoughts or behaviors. This approach will also be designed to help caregivers support their childs safety and healthy coping.36'
